Márványmenyasszony Restaurant was one of the most popular entertainment place of the Krisztina town. Its history can be traced back to the turn of the 17th century. Today in Budapest there are less and less small restaurants which are hidden at the feel of shady trees, so the few remaining ones what we can visit are especially esteemed. Márványmenyasszony Restaurant has preserved the romance of the old-time Buda since 1793. Generations of guests have been enjoying similarly the gipsy music under the shadowof the chestnut trees for 100 years. The restaurant (refubished in 1997) would like to continue the old catering traditions of the Krisztina town in a modern setting and in line with the requirements of its patrons.
